The brief was acoustic control in the boardroom — sound was carrying further than the client wanted. HPCI removed the existing timber wall belt and replaced it with 12 mm Willie Weston acoustic panels from Autex Australia. The install had to keep the adjoining cupboard door fully operational where the panels meet the joinery. To the right of the cupboard, 12 mm Cube Plain panels add absorption without competing with the Willie Weston feature. Two wall planes meet at different angles there — that’s the detail work — and the finished boardroom shows why it matters.
